DELE or SIELE online: which exam to choose

The two exams certify your level of Spanish and both are supported by the Cervantes Institute. And you can prepare both with us without leaving home, with a teacher and classmates in live class.
In short: DELE if you need a permanent official diploma and can wait for a call. SIELE if you want to certify your level soon, by computer and with a skill score.
What is DELE
The DELE exam is an official qualification that guarantees your competence in Spanish. It is offered by the Cervantes Institute on behalf of the Ministry of Education and consists of several levels, from A1 to C2.
Each level evaluates specific skills in comprehension and expression, written and oral, with reading, listening and production tests. The diploma is internationally recognized.
The preparation course is based on DELE tests from previous years, with mock exams. The pace is fast and intense.
What is SIELE
SIELE is the International Spanish Language Evaluation Service, which certifies the degree of Spanish proficiency through electronic means.
It evaluates four skills: reading comprehension, listening comprehension, written expression and interaction, and oral expression and interaction. It is supported by the Cervantes Institute, UNAM, the University of Salamanca and the University of Buenos Aires.
Differences between DELE and SIELE
Exam format: the DELE is on paper with an in-person oral test. The SIELE is electronic.
Result: DELE gives a diploma of a specific level. The SIELE gives a score for skill.
When: the DELE has fixed calls. The SIELE is much more flexible.
Online preparation: both courses are live, with a teacher and a small group.

Preparing online is cheaper than doing it in Valencia, and you can take the exam later at the center that suits you best. In Hispania we are the official examination center for both.
